‘Hum Log’, is a social-design consultancy that aims to unravel complex issues through simple designs, amplifying social impact by being multi-faceted, inclusive, and accessible to the people and communities it tries to uplift. We believe in designing with people, and not just for them. Our clients so far have ranged from social enterprises, think tanks, developmental and design agencies, to government and corporate organizations.
As designers, we find elegant solutions to the most ‘wicked’ problems. We attempt to investigate and integrate the ‘social’ in human-centered design by identifying and analyzing our clients’ needs and interpreting the best ways to address them through meaningful solutions. We specialize in design research, impact analysis, systems analysis designing services, toolkits, and platforms that actively involve its ‘log’ (people).
Optimal design solutions acknowledge the diversities of myriad requirements under one umbrella. Our designs, therefore, are dynamically built to accommodate the shifting needs of our people. Even when our methods evolve in response to new and complex challenges, we always center our designs on people, on the belief that we build as we learn and learn as we build.
